A Weekend w/ Morgan Wade

After Vital Game of Bike Morgan and I headed to Vegas for Dew Tour and we spent the weekend filming. It was definitely good to see Morgan still shredding as hard as ever.

Dan's Comp Pro Team: Chris Gerber

While in Salt Lake City for the Dew Tour, I attempted to get this video done for Danscomp with team rider Chris Gerber. We ran out of time however and had to wait for the final stop of the Dew Tour in Las Vegas before finishing off our filming in the wind and the rain. We pulled through and had a good time all in all.

Mirage Dolphin Exhibit w/ Dew Tour Athletes

Just before this year Dew Tour Championships in Las Vegas, Lisa from The Dew Tour brought a bunch of us down to The Mirage for a chance to check out their dolphin habitat. It was a ton of fun and we certainly learned a lot. Thanks to Lisa, Bianca, Chris, The Mirage and Dew Tour for the experience.

Las Vegas Vacation Edit

I got to stay home for this one as the Down crew came to Vegas to spend a few days in the heat riding some street spots. Good times are always had with these guys.

Catching Up with Craig Mast

Craig Mast took a nasty fall on a frontflip flair and while I was Salt Lake City for the Toyota Challenge Dew stop, Adam Banton hit me up to film a guitar session with the two of them and touch base with Mast. It was cool hearing what he has been up to and of course, it's always great to hear him shred the guitar.

Session @ Vault Park

Stolen has probably one of the funnest skatepark set-ups I've ever rode. We were at this park from 6:30 PM until almost 2:00 AM. These dudes know how to have fun. If you are ever in the Los Angeles area, visit La Habra and check it out.

Gatorade Free Flow Finals @ the Salt Lake Dew Tour

I had the opportunity to go to the Toyota Challenge stop of the Dew Tour in Salt Lake City and cover the Gatorade Free Flow Finals for Alli Sports. It was awesome being able to witness the birth of these future action sports stars.

During the X Games I stayed with Dan Norvell and got to hangout with the Down crew a lot. These guys know whats up, so many laughs. After the last event we all stayed in Downtown LA and pedaled around. It was good times and I can't wait to go back out and visit these guys.

Gatorade Free Flow Tour @ Skatecity Edit

Gatorade came down to Skatecity for a stop of their Free Flow Tour. This was one of the most amazing local contests Skatecity has seen, and at the end of the day Mike Payne won the trip to the Salt Lake City Dew Tour.

Lights Out @ Lav's w/ Anthony Napolitan

One night I was able to get a lighting kit from UNLV out to Lavin's yard and try to film a lights out edit with Anthony. We were about one light short from having an ideal setup and an astounding session, but we used what we had and put together this short edit anyway. Props to Anthony for making it happen.

POCKET FULLA HUNNEDZ- Mechanic feat. Passion

I had a chance to DP on a music shoot directed by a my buddy Jay from UNLV. This was so much fun. I really enjoy doing shoots like this in contrast to all the sports and weddings I saturate my business with. Music videos are always a good time and I'm always down to help. Thanks for the opportunity Jay, Mechanic, and Passion. Good times!

Mike Payne @ Woodward West

This summer I took a trip to Woodward West with Mike Payne and we had some good times. It was definitely quite a quest to get out there with an explosive radiator hose, 3 gallons of coolent, a shredded tire, and several hours on the side of the road waiting for a tow trunk in 120 degree heat. Still was an awesome week though after we arrived several hours late and several bucks short. He really impressed me too as he persevered through all this and still shredded for this edit on a borrowed bike. Mike's a trooper.

Matt Closson Edit

Vegas local Matt Closson and I wanted to make an edit that we could take some time with and ensure was something we were proud of, as opposed to just another web-edit filmed and released in a few days. We took a trip to Long Beach and then continued to film around Las Vegas until we felt we had enough good footage. This guy is crazy good and has a long future ahead.

Hucker, DGAF Dan, and Joey Cordova @ Woodward West

During a trip to Woodward this summer, these three homies wanted to throwdown on the courses and try to shoot an edit and I was more than happy to accept the offer. Unfortunately, with bad luck haunting the trip, Dan Norvell broke his foot in the process so he had to cut his shooting short but he still produced a couple massive clips for this video.

2011 Haro Bikes Line w/ Allan Cooke

While in town for the X Games, Allan Cooke had a couple of the industry media guys come over to the Haro warehouse where we were introduced to the new Haro line, fed, and given a chance to ride their awesome ramp setup. It was great times and I can't thank Allan and Haro enough.

R.I.P. Adam Stokes

Here's a piece from last April when I got word that Vegas shredder Adam Stokes had passed. Like many in the Vegas BMX scene, he was one of my childhood heros who helped keep me involved in BMX. I still have much respect for this man. Shine on.

The SkateCity Hot Pocket BMX Jam

In March I organized a contest at the local indoor skatepark in Vegas, Skatecity. This is the promo video I filmed a few weeks before to draw attention to our efforts. It's basically just a lights out edit with Mark Rubio, Mike Payne, Dan Quinn, and Justin Stapleton.

Huntington Beach Session w/ DGAF Dan

Took a day trip to Woodward to film the legendary DMC. Dennis is an awesome guy with a mouth that could spew great stories all day long. This edit was for a series Vans is doing on Vital where the team discusses the brand from its humble beginnings, their involvment, and where they see the brand going in the future.

Bryant Shepherd @ Skatecity
